You will want to purchase a two channel mixer to begin with, and after you start making money through your new career you can splurge for the accessories such as effects, equalizers and so on. Then comes the speakers, this is probably going to be the hardest thing to decide on since there are so many available to you to purchase as well as offering a huge range of sounds. This is going to be a personal decision that you make. If you want the loudest, then go with it, however, just starting most people buy the cheapest in order to make sure that they are seriously going to stick to the path of a DJ.
